It might be a little too early for a “Best of” show, but there’s a method to my madness.

This week’s show marked my debut with Sports Radio America, a 24/7 online sports radio station that also features several other media elements, dedicated to bringing a fresh perspective on sports. The Bridge now airs as a one hour show every Wednesday night on SRA, starting at 7 ET. Once the dust settles from the live broadcast, the podcast version of the latest show will be released on iTunes and this website on Friday nights. You can listen to show live on Sports Radio America here or through the TuneIn app.

Because of the new audience for this week’s show, The Bridge wound the clocks back to produce a “Best of” show to give new listeners a better understanding of what they’ll hear on the show each week. After a brief rundown of the usual topics covered on The Bridge, this week’s Sports News Read Like Real News dealt with the Navy football team pulling one of their backup quarterbacks down from the stands (5:37).

The show then features interview clips from some of the more notable guests to have been featured on The Bridge, including SiriusXM broadcaster Tom Byrne (11:16), Bleacher Report senior NBA writer Howard Beck (15:07), ESPN Radio’s Freddie Coleman (21:48), ESPN’s MLB broadcaster Boog Sciambi (28:45), SiriusXM Morning Men hosts Mike Babchik (33:53) and Evan Cohen (38:47), and ESPN Radio’s Jorge Sedano (46:03). You can find the entire list of noteworthy show guests through the “Best of the Bridge” tab on this website.

Call in or text the show 24/7 at 929-BRIDGE7, that’s (929) 274-3437. Contact the show with your questions, comments, stories or hot takes and you might be featured in the next installment of The Bridge.

Subscribe to The Bridge Sports Podcast on iTunes (please leave a positive rating and review if you enjoy the show) so you’ll immediately be notified when new episodes are posted each week. You can also find The Bridge Sports Podcast on Google PlaySoundcloudStitcher and TuneIn.
